Resting Place
I am so excited to share my new art series from plein aire painting in local lavender fields at local Oregon farms.
The image entitled “Resting Place” in acrylic on 9"x12"' watercolor paper was inspired during my visit to Wayward Winds Farm. A delightful farm with cozy views of the surrounding tree-lined lavender fields dotted with soft white wicker chairs and nostalgic gardening sheds.
Warm sun on my shoulders, surrounded by song birds singing, I enjoyed the colors and textures of this Chehalem Mountain landscape, from the wonderful yellow shrubs offsetting the purple lavenders, which were layered with white lavender accents.
