I am a figurative artist, a small business owner, art mentor and educator, wife, and mother of three young adults, living in Sherwood, Oregon.
Art making is a form of worship for me, full of anticipation and joy as I express my faith with the images that follow, leaving me feeling complete and fulfilled.
I desire to share this joy with my collectors as my art brings deeper meaning and a feeling of purpose to their daily lives; empowering them to feel encouraged in heart, mind and spirit each day as they live with the masterpieces in their home and place of business.
As visual beings, we are impacted by the images we see most often; art works ignite our daily creativity.
I have enjoyed the privilege of creating commissioned artworks for clients over the years, bringing personal expression and meaning to the walls of their home and office; taking their favorite scripture verses and bringing them to life in figurative wall pieces.

I live and work in our historic old town, established in 1893, where my small business studio Mosaic Arts Loft is nestled in a garden I commissioned, filled with plantings echoing Cezanne and Monet’s gardens, complete with a mini Monet bridge spanning the pond.
Whether memories of standing by my first art easel at age 4, or in front of my current easel today, the anticipation just before an artwork is born, is full of courage and adventure into the unknown.
My current series of drawings and paintings are inspired through my Awaken Journal series; bringing the images to life, from the pages of my sketchbook on to large art papers, through charcoal, conte’ and pastel lines, is my current joy.
I wanted to enable my art works to be more accessible to my collectors, so I began to have the art works transferred to museum quality Giclee ink prints on canvas. I really enjoy the richness of the black and phthalocyanine blue lines as they sink into the textured surface of the canvas.
My collectors are sharing with me how their canvases are awakening their spirit, sparking feelings of beauty, joy and hope as they pass by their new art collection each day.
In a time of isolation and uncertainty, these visual images are awakening my collectors to the remembrance that they have lives of purpose and meaning.
